NHS 111 is an NHS service designed to provide you with help and information if you have an urgent medical concern and you are not sure what to do. NHS 111 is open 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.
You can access the service by ringing 111 for free from any telephone or visit the website here.
You can also use the NHS 111 Online service here. You are able to enter your symptoms and then will be asked a series of questions to determine who is the best Healthcare Professional to help you.
If you have difficulties communicating or hearing you can:
- call 18001 111 on a text phone
- use the NHS 111 British Sign Language (BSL) Interpreter service if you are deaf and want to use the phone service (available 8am – midnight every day).
