South Birmingham Alliance Primary Care Network (SBA PCN)

Primary Care Networks (PCNs) have been part of the structure of Primary Care in the NHS since 2019.

PCNs build on existing primary care services and enable greater provision of proactive, personalised, coordinated and more integrated health and social care for people close to home. PCNs are groups of GP Practices working together to deliver healthcare services to their local population.

They are small enough to provide the personal care valued by both people and GPs, but large enough to have impact and economies of scale through better collaboration between GP practices and others in the local health and social care system.

South Birmingham Alliance PCN consists of the following Practices:

  • Cofton Medical Centre
  • Doski Medical Practice
  • Great Park Medical Group
  • Northwood Medical Centre
  • Rea Valley Healthcare Partnership

We have extra Doctor and HCA appointments available on a Saturday and weekday evenings after 6.30pm these appointments are bookable through our care navigators so please speak to them if an evening or Saturday appointment would be more suitable for you.

More information on Primary Care Networks can be found on the NHS England website here.
